ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is an International Quality Management Standard that specifies the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). Businesses such as Oumolat use this standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

ISO 9001 was originally introduced in 1987 and is published by ISO (the International Organization for Standardization). Now in its fourth revision (referred to as ISO 9001:2015), the standard has become an increasingly popular tool for businesses such as Oumolat to improve their operational performance.

There are seven principles of ISO 9001, these include: Engagement of People, Customer Focus, Leadership, Process Approach, Improvement, Evidence-Based Decision Making and Relationship Management.

Oumolat originally gained ISO 9001 certification in March 2018.
